Suppresses the stroke volume on the contraction side
Properly positioned to bump touch
If you change to long stroke shock absorbers, for example by lifting the vehicle, the shock absorber may bottom out before the bump touch during the contraction side stroke.
Therefore, by inserting specially designed extension spacers, the bump touch position can be properly adjusted to prevent bottoming out and damage to the shock absorber.
In addition to bottoming out of shocks, it is also effective in applications to prevent fender interference when large-diameter tires are mounted.
In mogul terrain, a proper bump touch on the contraction side will make it easier to hold the tire on the extension side into the terrain and help ensure traction.
