The bright blue color is a sign of high performance.

This part allows for custom adjustment of the misalignment between the body and housing that occurs during lift-up. It possesses the strength to firmly suppress lateral movement of the axle.
Additionally, the signature blue coating of the Country Suspension Series asserts a presence unique to lifted vehicles.

Lateral rods are essential for lift-up.

Benefits of Lifting

Generally speaking, when it comes to suspension tuning for four-wheel drive vehicles, lifting is the standard. The biggest advantage of this is that it increases the road clearance, which increases the three angles (*1) and improves the off-road driving performance. Of course, it also has a dress-up effect, and it goes without saying that it looks very wild and cool.

*1 The approach angle (AA), deperture angle (DA), and ramp breakover angle (RBOA) are the ground obstacle angles of a car.

It is necessary to know the various phenomena that occur in changing the values pre-set by automobile manufacturers correctly.

Adjustable lateral rod to compensate for the relationship between the body and the axle.

In the case of a linked rigid axle car, the position of the axle is determined by several arms and rods.
The lateral rod is mainly responsible for lateral positioning. The lateral rod is fixed at one point on the body side and one point on the axle side, so the position of the axle moves in an arc when the vehicle height changes. Therefore, when the vehicle is lifted, the axle will shift to one side. As you can see from the actual vehicle, one side of the tire is tucked inside the vehicle body, while the other side sticks out on the outside.

The arms and springs connected to the axle also tilt to the left and right, resulting in deteriorated straight-line stability and a different impression when cornering on the left and right.
More to the point, some tire sizes may protrude from the fender, which could be considered "poor maintenance".

The full-length adjustable lateral rods compensate for this axle misalignment. By making the lateral rod longer than stock, it is possible to return the axle position to the correct position.

Measured value of test vehicle

By lifting the car by 30mm, we moved it about 11-13mm to the right side. By adjusting the length of the lateral rod, you can align the center of the axle with the center of the car body.

And noteworthy is the condition of the stock ride height. As a result of the measurement, a slight deviation is measured due to the installation error of the bushings. Even if the vehicle is not lifted, replacing with adjustable lateral rods will have the effect of eliminating the left-right misalignment.
