The recently unveiled Lexus GX550 “Golf GX” project is a one-of-a-kind concept vehicle born from a collaboration between Lexus USA and OVR. Built by the renowned American custom shop RPM Offroad Garage, this bold project merges two seemingly different lifestyles—overlanding and golf—and has captured major attention across the North American custom scene.

The base GX550 already boasts impressive off-road capabilities, but the Golf GX elevates the experience with truly unique equipment. Its most striking feature is the integrated professional-grade golf simulator. Outfitted with a motorized awning, an impact screen, and a high-output projector, the Golf GX allows enthusiasts to enjoy a world-class golfing experience anywhere their adventures take them. By day, it conquers rugged trails; by night, it transforms into a luxurious outdoor golf theater beside the campfire.

This ambitious project was made possible through the cooperation of numerous partner brands. Notable collaborators include Toyo Tires, IVD Suspension, Warn Industries, Factor55, Redarc Electronics, and Pelican, all of whom are respected names within the off-road and outdoor culture. Among these, the inclusion of Bradley Wheels (Made in Japan) stands out, leaving a strong impression on users who value premium quality and trust.

The Golf GX made its debut at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and has since been showcased at events across the U.S., including the Toyo Tires Trailpass (Big Bear, CA). An exclusive feature article by OVR Magazine is also in the works, fueling excitement from both media and consumers alike.
